Glória is 12 years old and has a transplanted heart. She spends her school holidays at the hospital where her mother works. Her routine changes when Sofia starts going to the hospital to be with her great-grandmother, an elderly woman who suffered a domestic accident. While Glória suspects that her body is rejecting the transplanted heart, Sofia needs to convince her mother to respect Francisca's wish and take her to spend her last days on the farm where she lived with her great-grandfather, who has already passed away.
